![]() | According to sources, a campaign fighting for equality is on stage in Sweden. The participants are exclusively women. These women claimed for equal rights to men. The major motion is to convince the authority to allow women to swim without wearing bra in the public swimming pool. The campaign has extended to a national-scale. The group of Swedish women who insisted on demanding for the right to swim topless has established a “Topless organization”. They are active in organizing topless swimming activities. In August, 2007, two topless women who swam in a public swimming pool in Uppsala was dispelled out of the swimming pool by force. The 22-year-old lady claimed: “this is an issue of equality between men and women. The pubic view this issue (being topless) as an issue of sex, which actually infringes women’s rights. If men are allowed to swim bare-chested, why shouldn’t women? If women have to wear bra in the swimming pool, why not men?” Obviously, society holds strong prejudice against women. Additionally, some Swedish women footballers demanded the right to celebrate their scoring like their male counterparts did by striping off their top sports shirt. What are your views on this issue?( Note: Please heed your words. Any rough and sex-biased words should not be included.) |

You took " the wind out of my sails " there Franky, he he Seriously though I have no problem with this, even some of us men have " man boobs " ( me included ), mine are made worse because I'm a hairy beast too. After all Adam & Eve started out life with only a Fig Leaf covering their modesty. Alan. |

Alan has mentioned Adam and Eve in his post. If they are willing to go topless they might as well go the full Monty and wear nothing at all. One of the allures of looking at a woman is not what you can see but perhaps what you would like to see. I have been accused of having a 19th century view on morals. Perhaps the real agenda is not the supposed infringements of their rights but another more hidden agenda. Do they want to be men? Dodger. |

![]() | The taking off of football shirts is really a thing of the past, players even get yellow card for it now. I have no problem with women taking off their clothes if they want, after all its a free world. (well most places are) I dont think its a major issue for women to show themselves off, just look at some of the costumes women wear nowadays. They might as well be topless anyway. |

![]() | Wow, I am willing to give up this right equal to men. Topless swimming, I do not think most Chinese women would demand for this equal right. |
