I will be in Shanghai Feb. 6-7 staying in the French concession. Will there be fireworks and other festivites the night of Feb. 6. Will everything be closed on Feb. 7?

yes there will be definitely some celebratory festivities - and No - not all places will be closed on the 7th Feb - as most tourism related and the larger local departmental stores n shopping malls will be open.
