![]() | It is reported that EU is possible to use anti-dumping measures to defend itself if China could not help find ways to reduce trade deficit. It is said that EU's trade deficit against China is rising 150 million Euros per hour. China's slow steps to appreciate its RMB and limits on foreign corporations' access to its domestic market annoys EU very much. On other hand, EU thinks that it is more open to China. However, China does not show the same openess to EU. EU says that it might impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese exports or appeal to WTO if China can not make any changes. |

![]() | The EU (like the US) has so many restrictive rules against free trade they are the 'pot calling the kettle black'. The develioped nations have exploited trade to their advantage throughout history, it is time that 'the boot was on the other foot'. |

However, China does not show the same openess to EU. EU is more open to China? I can not agree on this point. EU has made many restrictive policies on Chinese exports, such as leather shoes, lighters and other products. Why? They are afraid that more Chinese exports to EU will cause damage to their producers and sellers. Right now, they require China to appreciate RMB following US. The reason is obvious. They are afraid that Euro will be affected if China did not make progress in its currency policies. Actually, we can not attribute all faults to China. US should also be responsible for this. Dollar's decline has a deep influence ove global economies. |
