Now 'they' want to know my foreign tax bill

APAULT Points: Join Date: Mar 11, 2006 Status: offline	My college has recently been asked to obtain documentary evidence of its foreign teachers' foreign tax bills. This request came from the Provincial (Guangdong) Tax Office. The college has told them it's not possible and there has so far been no follow up. Mine are packed away in a box in Aus - no-one has ever suggested this would be needed. I have no idea if there is any legislative basis for their request or what it is wanted for.. Has anyone else met with this - Guangdong or anywhere?
