| I cannot give an answer to this! because I dont know! but Surley when you apply for a visa if you give the embassy a letter explaining what has happened, they should be able to check up on your last visa to see if you are telling the truth. | I once lost my passport in Europe. based on that and the general way that the Chinese system works I think you will first have to obtain a new US passport. Then you will be able to apply for a NEW visa to enter China. You should ask the US officials how easy it is to get a new visa in HK and essentially how long it will take. Of course, you will need all the paperwork for this and will need to have it sent over...or take a trip home. The Z versus F visa is a separate issue. Check previous threads for many discussins on this. |
