Has anyone read the book called "Shanghai Baby" or her sequel "Marrying Buddha"? Is life really like that in China or is she just dramatizing the events in her life? Guys seem to just be all over her, and I just can't understand why..and how?

I don't know who would want to, Its got some terrible reviews.

From what I know that book was banned in China since 2000 but I am also interested in the answers to your question because I am planning to visit Shanghai in September 2008.
