Steamed eggplant, do you like it?

Materials: two eggplants, 164 grams lean pork, five black mushrooms, ten red dates and two ginger slices.

Seasonings: oyster oil (3 tablespoons), edible oil (2 tablespoon), white sugar (1/3 tablespoon), chicken powder (1 tablespoon), salt (1/3 tablespoon) and soy sauce( 1 tablespoon).

Step 1 shred lean meat, soak black mushrooms in clean water for a while, take them out and cut off the butts. Then shred mushrooms, soak red dates in water, take out date stones and shred them. Then cut ginger slices in shreds.

Step 2 Put lean meat, red dates, black mushrooms and ginger shreds in a bowl. Add one tablespoon edible oil, three talbespoons oyster oil, 1/3 tabespoon white sugar, 1 tablespoon chicken powder, 1/3 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, half a cup water (about 125 ml). Then mix them well.

Step 3 Cut off the butts of eggplants and then cut them in shreds (each about 5 cm). Quick-boil them in boiling water for one minutes, take them out and get rid of water in eggplant shreds.

Step 4 Put a layer of eggplant shreds and scatter the mixture of dates, lean meat and ginger till all eggplant shreds are used.

Step 5 Pour a tablespoon of edible oil on the surface of the eggplant shreds and cover the plate with film cling.

Step 6 Steam eggplant shreds in boiling water for 35 minutes.
