guest95354 A friend and I have planned to travel through China throughout the entire February (not optimal, I know, but vacations allowed us only this month). As we`re going to travel with a backpack, moderate climate is important (or at least not extrem low temperatures). Can anybody recommend any specific regions that are realizable to be visited?

Have a look at southern Yunnan, Guangxi and Hainan provinces. they will all be warmer than most everywhere else and there is plenty of diversity in landscape, history, culture and customs.

You could venture into cooler climes if you have some warm clothing but you could certainly spend a while in the these southern provinces for a month if you travel slowly, get into the villages and take your time.
