I've read that if I'm staying with friends or family, I need a Letter of Invitation for my tourist (L) visa. But I haven't been able to find out what form this letter should take.

Does anyone know what has to be contained within this letter? Also, what needs to be done to validate it (for example, the equivilant letter for a Belgian visa needs to be stamped at the Town Hall)?

Just an sample I easily found on the web. I think there will be no much difference between others.

Of course official seals, titles of who issue the letter should not be missed on the letter as validity warrant.
