Hi all,

Do you like reading? Have you read any Chinese literary works? What are your favorite composite characters in the novel I like reading novels, especiallly the love-related novels. Wuthering Heights is one of my favorites. Wuthering Heights is a great novel, a great tragedy. It touches upon not only the theme of love but also the distortion of human nature. Can anyone share with me your favorite books?

I like reading all kinds of books. Feature stories are my favorite.
Hi Shesgottobe, what is the book 100 Pearls of Chinese Wisdom about? It seems to me that this book is a philosophical piece.

Wow, Shesgottobe! After that list of wisdom and philosophy it is not easy to bring out my favourites.

Anyway, I have always liked reading although lately have read less.
My all time favourite book is "Battle Cry", written by Leon Uris.

When I was young, I used to read all books I got into my hands. I have read Josef Stalins 13 books and Bible. Did not like them, but nothing else to read that time.

Now I am reading two thick books about navigating, because I want to sail a bit more far away from costline next summer with my small boat.

Hi Zoey!

100 Pearls of Chinese Wisdom is a 200-page book of Chinese proverbs. I got it at the Foreign Language Bookstore when I was at Wangfujing. I also got the 100 Common Chinese Idioms and Set Phrases. ^_^

~~

Carlos, you are correct. I love books and reading so much that it would be virtually impossible for me to tell which is my favorite so I just listed some. ^_^
