Materials: a chicken.
Seasonings: Chinese prickly ash and dry red pepper (1:4), shallot, cooked sesame, salt, MSG, cooking wine, edible oil, ginger, garlic and white sugar.

How to make it:
Step 1 Cut the chicken into dices and add cooking wine and salt in. Then mix chicken dices well with cooking wine and salt. Fry chicken dices in heated edible oil till they turn dark yellow and take them out. Cut dry red pepper and shallot into pieces (each about 3 cm long) and slice the ginger and garlic.
Step 2 Heat edible oil in the pan and fry red pepper and garlic in the oil. Then add fried chicken dices in and stir-fry them together. Finally, add shallot, MSG, white sugar and cooked sesame in and stir-fry them for a while.

Look at the dry red pepper and Chinese prickly ash.

I must ask; does it have to have so many red peppers?

He, he, can we avoid them?

I guess not.

JCL, I am afraid not. To be honest, I don't like pepper at all. When I saw it, I was starting to sweat. Toooo hot!

Iceberg, thank you for your beautiful dishes, this one here is so nice to the view, American dishes are not as tasteful as Chinese, but I can tell you they are very appealing to the view.

This one looks so delicious.

As Alan said, seeing this plate makes me hunger.

It is like a painting on a plate! I eat hot foods like that all the time. I think my mouth would feel the málà sensation for hours after eating so much prickly ash pepper, though. It is such a wonderful and weird feeling.
