It is reported that Federer (Men's No.1) and Henin (Women's No.1) have become the ITF World Champions.

In 2007, Federer won Australian Open, Wimbledon and US Open titles. In all, he has won 12 Grand Slams. Also it is the fourth time that Federer has won the ITF champion in straight years. For Henin, he won US and French titles in 2007. For ITF champion, she won this at third time.

Yes Kevin, these two players will likely continue their dominance in 2008.

I am hoping that Federer can win at least two Grand Slams in 2008 and tie Sampras' record.

Although I'm not a big fan of Henin's, I do admire her game and her talent. For me, I prefer watching women who are a little more attractive. :)

Henin, did she win any 'Grand Slams'?

Haha, all men like to watch attractive sportswomen playing games. I guess that you must be fond of Sharapova who is not only good at playing tennis but also very beautiful.

Yes she has already won 7 Slams which is an excellent accomplishment.
Not many players have done that (men or women).

You hit the nail on the head! hehe.

I am a big fan of Sharapova's because of the two points you mentioned: her beauty and talent. In 2006 Sharapova actually defeated Henin in the U.S. Open final. That was a great match to watch.

Surprising! Canadaguy, is she the female one who has won the most 'Grand Slams' ? I just read another thread. There they talked about Henin, Hingis and Davenport. I just want to know who is the greatest one just measured by their total champions.

Margaret Court, an Australian, won the most singles Grand Slam titles, 24!
Steffi Graf, a German won 22 singles Grand Slam titles!
This is the most any woman or man has won.

The most any man has won is 14 (Pete Sampras).

Steffi Graf is married to Andre Agassi, another great tennis player who retired recently. They have a very young son who is probably blessed with the most 'promising' tennis genes in the world. :)

Surprising! Were they super women? Can't believe it! BTW, Steffi Graf is very sexy. But why did she look so blue in the picture?

Yes, perhaps their son will be as great as Sampras or Federer ;-) CANADAGUY, I guess you must know Yao Ming. He has inheritated basketball genes from his parents who were also basketball players. At present, Yao has got married with Ye Li, also a basketball player. Their child might be a good basketball player too.

Yes I would say these two were super women! I don't think there will be another female tennis player to break their records for a very long time.

You are right, Steffi does look blue in the picture.
I think the Sports Magazine that took the picture was trying to get a 'special' type of picture.
Steffi did not smile a lot on or off the court, that was just her personality.
She took the game very seriously and she also had quite a few difficulties throughout her career with her father, through scandals.

If his parents encourage him, I think there's a good chance this could happen.

Yes I have heard of Yao Ming, but I have never seen him play. I'm not a big fan of baskeball. He is really a giant!
Yes I think their children will have very special 'baskeball genes'. :)
