![]() | Do you feel that you have a closer relationship with your grandpa and grandma on your mother's side? If so, don't be surprised. A research reveals that your mom's mom love you more than your parental grandpa or grandma. It also says that they make more efforts to contact their grandchildren than the parental grandparents. Why? Because of maternity, women are more sure of the relationship with their sons and daughters. But men can never be wholly certain they are their children's biological fathers. Furthermore, maternal grandparents are always more certain than paternal grandparents that a grandchild is related to them. Do you believe it? Personally, I can sense that my grandparents on my mother's side really love me more. Everytime I visit my grandma on my mother's side. She is very happy. However, when I come back home, I can hardly feel my grandpa's (on my father's side) happiness when he sees me. That is how I feel. What about you? |

![]() | If you look at my sons you would not doubt who their father is - unfortunately for them as they are clearly mine. Interesting theory nevertheless, but couldn't it also be explained by other societal factors that affect the way the grandparents are 'allowed' to interact with their grandkids? |

![]() | I don't feel the difference. Both my grandparents on my father and mother's sides love me very much. But parents love their oldest and youngest children in their family if they at least have three children in China. So far, I haven't got the answer for this. |
