| guestPascal | Hi we are a swedish couple going to Beijing, Shanghai and then to Macau. We are staying in Macau and flying from Guangzhou (Baiyun Airport) Departure 10:00 Thu 10 Jan 2008 Can anyone help me i need some advice how to get to the airport from Macau? Train, bus or taxi ? Prices. From where? Thanks in advanced! |

 | I would suggest that you go to Guangzhou and stay there for the night before your flight. Otherwise it's going to be too rushed. |

| Thanks for your answer. We will try to change our last hotel night to a hotell in Guangzhou instead. How do you recommend we travel from Macau to Guangzhou? By train, bus or taxi? Estimated price? Thanks in advanced,,,,Looking forward to China !! |

| Bus to Guangzhou is easy but choose a hotel close to the airport since it can take up to an hour from downtown depending on traffic. Buses also leave Zhuhai border crossing for the Baiyun airport or Guangzhou city at regular intervals. Your hotel in Macau can probably advise you as well but it would be a good idea to spend your last night on the Mainland as has been suggested and as close to airport as you can manage. Hotels have shuttle buses to the airport and you'll probably be sent off about 7.30 am giving you a couple of hours to book in etc. |

| I think there're some direct buses from Macau to Guangzhou, but timings are relatively limited. Better would be to cross the border to Zhuhai and take a bus to Guangzhou. When looking for a hotel near the airport, note that Guangzhou has a new and old airport, both of which are called Baiyun airport. Don't end up near the old one thinking you're at the new one! |
