What is investigated about the American?

I will be filing an I-129 for K1 visa and same for K2 in the near future. I am curious what is germane about me in the process beyond the questions on the form.

I understand and have no problem with supporting evidence against marriage or immigration fraud, but what about me is going to get dragged into it beside criminal background check?

Such as, bankruptcy filing, employment status, level of income, home ownership vs rental, total assets or whatnot?
