From Yantai to Xingyang then to Chengdu

I'm planning to travel from Yantai to Henan-Xingyang and then to Sichuan-Chengdu (Jiuzaigou) but think there's no direct train or flight. Any advise? How long is the travelling time.

Xinyang not Xingyang in Henan province, I presume? You need to change trains in Zhengzhou.
Yantai -- Zhengzhou: 1130/1131 (1736--0905) 15h29min
Zhengzhou -- Xinyang: plenty of trains and buses
Xinyang -- Zhengzhou: same as above
Zhengzhou -- Chengdu: any train that suits your timing, about 1 full day needed
Chengdu -- Jiuzhaigou: bus or flight
