What Chinese girls find romantic?

Hi everyone!

I am returning to Taiwan very soon, and I will be spending time with my girlfriend again. I am wondering what would be a nice romantic gift to buy for her on Valentines day.

Is there anything I should steer clear of, or anything which is definetly a good idea? I would know what to do if she was English, but she's not and I dont really want to make a faux-pas.

What do Chinese women consider to be romantic? Can anyone help me?

GUEST23233 clothing is nice, so is jewelry but not extremely expensive, just something thoughtful. find out what kind of flowers she likes too, and get those for her. just ask her friends and family then you will know what to do.

I think flowers are better, you can buy rose, lily, daffodil etc. To be honest, most of Chinese girls like flowers. It represents love and caring in our girl's mind.

Thanks, I was thinking of what I can buy to bring with me as well.

As for flowers, is there any particular type or colour? For example in England roses signify love, and lillies are associated with funerals. So I would avoid them.

in the mean time, taking a heart type DOVE chocolate is better.

In my opinion, if you really want to be romantic... be original.

Flowers, Chocolate, jewellery... it's been done to death. She her you've been paying attention to who she is and surprise her in a completely unique way that only you know how.

Yeah I know, that was what I was thinking. I was asking what other people thought, because there may be some other things Chinese girls like that I would never have heard about living in England.

I have got her some nice clothes, but that is a difficult one when you are not 100% sure of her size!
