Hi everyone! I am returning to Taiwan very soon, and I will be spending time with my girlfriend again. I am wondering what would be a nice romantic gift to buy for her on Valentines day. Is there anything I should steer clear of, or anything which is definetly a good idea? I would know what to do if she was English, but she's not and I dont really want to make a faux-pas. What do Chinese women consider to be romantic? Can anyone help me? Paul.

Thanks, I was thinking of what I can buy to bring with me as well. As for flowers, is there any particular type or colour? For example in England roses signify love, and lillies are associated with funerals. So I would avoid them. Thanks for advice..

GUESTVICKYLIU | a mixture of folwers with red rose (10-15) and white lily(2-3) , in the mean time, taking a heart type DOVE chocolate is better. |

In my opinion, if you really want to be romantic... be original. Flowers, Chocolate, jewellery... it's been done to death. She her you've been paying attention to who she is and surprise her in a completely unique way that only you know how.

Yeah I know, that was what I was thinking. I was asking what other people thought, because there may be some other things Chinese girls like that I would never have heard about living in England. I have got her some nice clothes, but that is a difficult one when you are not 100% sure of her size!
