The drab 65th Golden Globe announced the winners. The annual banquet of motion picture was deflated from star-studded revelry to dry, news conference-style awards announcement because of the Hollywood writers strike.

Cate Blanchett won the supporting actress Golden Globe on Sunday for her role as one version of singer Bob Dylan in the movie "I'm Not There." The tragic romance "Atonement" was named best drama. The bloody film adaptation of the Broadway musical "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" has won the Golden Globe for best musical or comedy.
