I sure hope this is a joke because betrayal, whether done by the man or the woman is going to hurt. I don’t know why anyone would think it is ok either way.

I’ll answer this based on how I understand it. Usually, when asked in a playful way, it is a girl’s way to create romance and also some form of wanting reassurance. And usually, she would answer with “I love you, too!” I don’t think it is something to be ashamed of or something bad to ask. Is it?

JINGJING, your idea is certainly a good way to avoid being hurt by someone. I appreciate your idea that don't let love be your master, because anyone who is a slave to love maybe get hurt badly once the love lost. Don't let love be your master. You are the master of love.

Well, your opinion "i'd rather betray a man than he betray me" is quite unpleasant and it is not a good point. (Maybe, you are joking). There is a Chinese saying which goes: do not do something to others that you wouldn't expect them do to you.

Thanks, SHEGOTTOBE. Now I understand it clearly and it is definitely not a shame. In the past, When I saw this scene on the TV, I thought that the girl was a little bit silly. Now I should say they were lovely. Anyway, people who are in love with sb are silly to some extent.
