Braised duck with ginger

Materials: half a duck (about 730 grams), ginger (150 grams), red pepper (1), green pepper (2), beer ( 200 ml), garlic and aniseed (5).

Seasonings: edible oil (1 tablespoon), soybean sauce (1/3 tablespoon), thick broad bean sauce (1/2 tablespoon), chicken powder (1/3 tablespoon) and salt (1/5 tablespoon).

Step 1 Hollow red and green peppers and then cut them into pieces. Peel ginger and cut them into shreds. Use your kitchen knife to pat garlic.

Step 2 Chop the duck into pieces and quick-boil them in boiling water.

Step 3 Preheat a tablespoon of edible oil. Then add duck pieces in and braise for 5 minutes.

Step 4 Quick-fry ginger shreds and add duck pieces in and stir-fry for 3 minutes.

Step 5 Add beer, aniseed, 1/3 tablespoon soybean sauce and 1/2 tablespoon thick broad bean sauce. After boiling, boil for 15 minutes.

Step 6 Add red and green peppers and garlic and then boil for 5 minutes. Then add 1/3 tablespoon chicken powder and 1/5 tablespoon salt.
