Book of Changes, propagate superstition or salvage culture?

Do you know the “ Book of Changes”? Yesterday, a Chinese newspaper reported that a Chinese scholar send an application to the Culture Administration Bureau of Jilin province. He proposed to enlist his revised version of the old Chinese classic “Book of Change” in the “ Intangible Cultural Heritage Directory”. This case caused the concern of people from all walks of life. Some people question the value of the book and argue that even the old classic “ Book of Changes” has been misinterpreted and misused in this corporeal era. “Book of Change” has become a book of fortune-telling. If “Book of Changes” is included in the “ Intangible Cultural Heritage”, it equals to propagate superstition rather than salvage traditional Chinese culture.

Casting the yarrow sticks or coins???

It started as a fortune telling book for me...but when the book began to speak to me, my outlook changed.
