![]() | Will you buy a botlle of air if it can bring you peace and love? A shop near the Drum Tower in Beijing sell air to its consumers. The prices vary from 10 yuan to 30 yuan. Does the air in the bottle have some magic power? Just look at those bottles. A label on the bottle says 'no overtime working'. Another says 'love and peace'. What will happen if I breathe the air in the bottle labelled with ' love and peace? Will I calm down and find my love? I don't know. What do you think? Would you like to buy some air?![]() |

![]() | Sorry, but this has to be the most stupid marketing idea I have ever seen. No wait, it might be second to the homeopathy. Where's the bottle with the label: "You got to wake up and start watching where your money goes to" Hehehe!! |

![]() | Seems like a variation on a very old 'product'. In London tourists used to buy cans of London air as souveniers. Of course they were simply empty cans, everyone knew that, and you could never open them or they would no longer contain London air! You could simply invite your neighbours in and talk about your holiday in London and pass round the tin...with everyone who hadn't been there womndering what London air was really like. |

![]() | Well, I was in London in 2000 and after an afternoon of walking around, my white shirt looked like I had been help Santa on his delivery night... Thanks to all the tourists filled diesel buses there. Air quality is not much better in many Chinese cities, but at least you get that nice smell of roasted coal instead!! LOL. |

![]() | "There's a sucker born every minute!" Paul's pointed out one case of canned air...there's a TV commercial now with a child capturing the wind and bringing it home in a jar to his family.... I guess it captures the imagination...just like the pet rock did in the 70s! |

![]() | People will buy them if they think it is a cool thing to have. It’s what branded goods live for. That’s the genius of marketing, making us buy things we don’t really need but we’re told we need. LOL! I have heard of people who can sell an ocean, a parcel of the moon or an alien abduction insurance. As for those little reminders for some of the things that really matter but we usually forget or take for granted, you don’t really need to buy them. Just write any message you want on a piece of paper and post them on your wall. Or create a desktop screen saver with such messages. |

![]() | Well, I might buy a bottle of air just for fun. Wait, a king just came up on my mind. Do you remember 'the Emperor's New Clothes'? I feel that I am the king and the seller is the tailor. |
