Is there enough water Guilin to Yangshuo

Another post has suggested that it may be difficult taking the full river trip from Guilin to Yangshuo due to low water.

Not only is winter the drier season but the water was low at place in the summer as it was a VERY dry summer.

Does anyone know how bad the situation is, from the point of view of a tourist taking the boat?

My gal & I are headed to Guilin during Spring Festival. She said the water is low and that we might not get to Yangshuo.

When are you going to be there? Perhaps we can all get together; get a bit to eat; and hoist a few beers... I'll buy.
