Has anyone had Century Eggs?

I tolf my gf that I would try them, but although I am not a really fussy eater, I do have some reservations when it comes to eggs. The thought of them really make me feel ill so it will be a real battle for me to force the first one down! He he!

However, she assures me that they are delicious. I just want to get a few more opinions on them before I go back to Taiwan in 2 weeks.

So what are they like?

I tried them in Taiwan last year. Cant say they tasted great really as they were chopped up and cooked along with pork.
I did manage to buy some and bring them home but I am not sure how else to eat them.

Marrie, why is it not good for health? I hear that lime is used to make century eggs. Is it for this reason?
