Nanjing rd or sichuan bei lu shopping malls have cheapest prices? where shanghai ppl do their shopping? where to have economical place to have tea n enjoy the view of the bund.
cruise along huangpu river do it in the morning or afternoon?
is there any economical eatery near oriental pearl tower? is the tower open to tourist to visit from 18-22 jan??
PS: pity me as am DIY in cold shanghai in such short days:-(

For cheap and nice goods, you may go to Xiangyang Market which is located just off Huahai Zhong Lu. You can buy any fake branded item there, such as clothes, bags, shoes, souvenirs , most of them are cheap but of reasonably good quality. People call the market the paradise of bargainers, so don't forget to slash the price with the sellers.

Since I am a local person,I want to say Nanjin road ans sichuan bei lu is not the economic place to shopping also nowadays Xiangyang road is not cheap place for shopping,the good place is Qipu road,you can have a try.
For the time cruise the bund,maybe night is better.Near the TV TOWER,you can find some place to eat in Zhengda plaza.
