In recent days, global stock market has been in turmoil and many people condemn that US is the culprit. Why? US is not the only victim of subprime crisis. Other countries in the world have been affected. To make world economies recover soon, they hope that China can play the role of Saviour.

Although shares in Chinese stock market has affected, China's economy is still growing. The GDP growth in the fourth quarter in 2007 has increased 11.2 percent compared with the same period in 2006. On the other hand, China has a huge amount of foreign exchange reserve. Therefore, they hope China can save global economies.

What do you think? Can China play the role of Saviour very well?

Not so much a saviour, but a strong underlying force providing a demand for foreign products.
