![]() | Do weathermen have to learn about the weather, or do they just make it up? P.S - still really cold here! |

![]() | No, weathermen are employed for their good looks and personality!! ?? Though personally I prefer the Japanese approach as depicted in the Weatherwoman movies :) :) |

![]() | Apault. Now I have an image of you sitting in a lonely GZ apartment, watching bad Japanese movies about weather women! Please tell me I am wrong?! |

![]() | I arrived safely in Nanning. It is chilly, but my winter coat is much too warm in Nanning for someone used to a Montana winter. However, I can see how people accustomed to much warmer weather require heavy clothing. Having it here - just in case - is much better than being cold! :-) |

![]() | My previous post was true...but the weather in the last few days turned misty. The cold became a biting chill. The clothes I wore would keep me comfortable in Montana at -20F...but are inadequate at +40C! It is very much like my experience comparing the dry by COLD weather in Northwest Montana with the much warmer climate in a very damp Oregon winter. Add to this that there is no central heating in the buildings in Nanning ... and I've found myself wearing all of my clothes until I go to bed. I am flabbergasted by this reality. Who'da thunk a Montanan would be cold in Nanning!!! ??? Tomorrow, I will buy an additional layer of long-john underwear to stay comfortable. |
