Looking for an accomodation

I'm french and will arrive in Chengdu shortly to study in the Southwest Jiatong university, unfortunately the flat the university wanted to lease me is not finished yet :( and I'm homeless... I would really appreciate any information that could help me to find an alternative... (contact, database of classified in mandarin or english...)

Hi, Marv!

You don't need worry about the lodging problem, since you are not in Chengdu now, you can do nothing beforehand. My suggestion is, after your arrival in Chengdu, you live in the hotel of the univirsity for couple of days, and during this period you can ask your Chinese classmates or friends to help you find a flat near the campus, usually there are much more choices varying from simple room to the fully furnitured apartment.
