If anyone who has been there could offer any advice, I'd appreciate it. Also, I would like to take a trip or two to some surrounding areas, which may not be accessible by bus. I'm torn between several places, all of which sound good. But it seems hiring a car can get very expensive. Could anyone give me advice on some places they've been to just outside Lhasa, how they got there, and the prices? Thank you. Frank
