I'm going to be back in Beijing in May and i was going to try and find a couple things that i missed last time i was there. I would like any information on tatoo shops and also where i will be able to find fireworks, like the ones that are tied to the string. I have seen them used at big celebrations but never knew where to get them.

The reason you've not seen any fireworks on sale in Beijing is that they are forbidden to fire in the downtown areas. While in those outskirt or countryside near the city, you'll find many shops sell it.

and i doubt u can take them out by air or by train. In the downtown, u are not allowed to fire it.
