![]() | The news reported that highways, railways and airports paralyzed by extreme weather have been gradually recovering. However, millions of people are still in dark. The Beijing to Zhuhai expressway turned normal on Monday after soldiers and polices' hard efforts. On the other hand, most airports in disaster areas have resumed operations. On Tuesday, Guangzhou Railway Stations was back to normal after 11 days. The spokeman said that about 3.5 million passengers have left Guangdong Province by train Tuesday noon. Hope heavy snow disaster could be swept away as soon as possible. It is forecasted that most parts of the country will have fine weather during the Spring Festival. |

![]() | Thats good to know, When I was there I waited 13 hours for a train from Zhumadian to Shanghai and then that took 16 hours to get Shanghai, so I was pretty tired even though I had a sleeper. In the UK I wouldn't have to wait that long as they would just cancel the train! Fair play for keeping the trains running though. Alan |
