Yangshuo to Lijiang

guest81756 Hello everyone! What is the best way to get from Yangshuo to Lijiang?

Bus to Guilin, fly to Kunming and train/bus to Lijiang??

Also, I will be heading to Chengdu from Lijiang and would like to do it overland to enjoy the scenery... Is it a good trip via Shangri La? Or are other routes a better option?

You can by bus from Yangshuo to Guilin, fly to Kunming, then by bus to Lijiang. if you want to know more info of this area, you can visit www.guilinprivatetours.com

You can fly into the Airport at Lijiang.

Going overland via Zhongdian (shangrila) is a great adventure by many routes.

You can also go via Panzhihua, Emeishand and Leshan to Chengdu, also a good trip but if you have the time go west!!!!!!!!!!!

What's your definition of "best"? Are you going for price, or time? Try overnight train Guilin -- Kunming then overnight sleeper bus Kunming -- Lijiang. There're also flights for both legs if you want to splurge.
For Lijiang -- Chengdu, I would recommend bus Lijiang -- Panzhihua then train Panzhihua -- Chengdu. I presume you don't have the time to go through Shangri-La and then western Sichuan.
