SOMMER Points: Join Date: May 23, 2005 Status: offline	Tui tour has 1 way soft-sleeper, return by air with 1 night 4* hotel for RMB 2,750 incl full day tour C-Trip offers return flights, 2 nights 3* hotel for RMB 2,090 I am guessing that for the $92 difference (each) we can do our own meals and tour... we are vegetarian so 'dumpling restaurant' not a good choice anyway. Am I wrong? Touring independently a bad idea? Can speak a wee bit of Chinese. Are the Warriors/ Wild Goose very expensive? thank you all!

ELLYSE Points: Join Date: Oct 30, 2005 Status: Offline	Absolutely fine to DIY. The Terracotta Warriors cost 90 RMB IIRC, and I don't expect the pagodas (Big or Small Goose Pagoda? There's no one "Wild Goose Pagoda") to cost any more than 50 RMB.
