What are weddings like in China? Do brides buy or rent their gowns? What is the average cost for the gown?

I'm thinking of getting married in China in the next year but don't know where to start.

Most brides rent the wedding gowns, only few rich ladies would buy their gowns. It is hard to telll the cost for the gown. The cost varies from 200-300 yuan to 2000-3000 yuan. It depends on where you will hold your wedding.
