Jan. 15th on Chinese Lunar Year is Lantern Festival. On that day, people enjoy themselves by watching beautiful lanterns and eating rice glue balls. Do you know what rice glue balls are? In Chinese, they are called ?? (Yuan 2 Xiao 1) or ?? (Tang 1 Yuan 2). Today I will give you a recipe to cook rice glue balls.

Material: Rice glue balls (500 grams). You can buy them in the supermarket.

Seasonings: white sugar and edible oil (1000 grams).

How to cook fried rice glue balls?

Step 1 Use a needle to make tiny holes in the rice balls to prevent edible oil splash out from the pan.

Step 2 Preheat edible oil in the pan, then fry rice glue balls. Remember to stir them with chopsticks. When they turn golden, take them out.

Step 3 Spread some white sugar over the rice glue balls. Then the dish is cooked.
