 | Did anyone know this book-- Dragon's Fury? I found this book on another forum. The book is a war book. The author is an American called Jeff Head. It subtitled " World War Against America and the West." It spans a 7 years third world war of the U.S vs PRC/iran/north Korea. I want to read this book carefully. Where can I get a book version? Is there a Chinese translation version? Thanks in advance! |

| Johny, if you went thru chinese history and look into its cultures, you will found this book is worthless. |

| Marrie, you may well be right, but perhaps you could add couple of sentences explaining why you think so? And even if a book is 'worthless' it can still prove valuable to read it. One might not value the opinions of Stalin or Hitler, but one might gain considerable insight into the pshche of the authors or the nation at that time, which will them help understand other books about that era. Many people would consider Karl Marx's 'Das Kapital' as worthless, but surely we cannot understand the rise of the Soviet Union and the history of many other nations without an understanding of marxist philosophy. Indeed he was quite an astute philosopher - even tough he is not given credit for it some of his ideas have become accepted in the western business world, such as the concept of workers' alienation in the workplace. |

| Paul, does china have the history of invasion other nations. Somebody may argue that in Yuan Dynasty, Great Khan expanded land to Danube River. However, Khan was from Mongolia and China was ruled by Mongolia. On the contrary, It’s GB who bombed opening the door of china (1840?)(BTW, it’s a shameful history to us Chinese) using the gunpowder that was introduced to the west by Marko Polo. We called it Opium War in Qing dynasty when china was dominated by minority MAN, one ethnic group of Mongolia. Chinese saying that the great wall never collapses implies that we are of self-defence nation. Unfortunately, it seems that we have no friendly neighbours and the resulting impact is that budget weighs too much on military. Karl Marks is a great philosopher and economist. He discovered surplus value of capital mode of production and predicted in advance the periodic crises of capitalism; I think his ideals are realizing in northern Euro I guess although I have doubt if there is Eden in the world because I am still a poor proletariat. |

| I googled this book and find the cover of the book. Obviously, the author holds a negative outlook about the international situation. What he foresees is the confrontation between the East and and West. I guess the author is a conservative who survived the Cold War. |

| GUESTWARRIOR | The war with NK would result in a nuclear strike by NK. This will result in every country with nuclear arms to turn to nuclear weapons, especially Iran and Russia. More bad news for USA. As more and more nukes result, the end of the world is increasing. |

| GUESTSIMON | The upside of this book is the attention to technical details like the weapons both future and current. If you like techno-thrillers and dont mind jingoisim you have a blast reading this. |
