I'm leaving for China next wednesday for 1 week. I will be visiting Shanghai and Beijing. Which city is better/cheaper for shopping? I know it's a really general question but the reason I ask is because I don't want to do all my shopping in Beijing and then hear that it's better in Shanghai. Also, I'm looking to buy some brand name golf clubs (Titleist, Big Bertha, Callaway etc...)and golf shirt, and also a brand name mountain bike (Giant, Specialized etc..), any recommendation or tips where I could find these products. Last question would be how much and which company I should take to book a train from Shanghai to Beijing?

The train times and prices are easy...look at the top of this page and you will see a little picture of a choo choo train. Click on it and you can get all teh info you want. Travel agents including those in hotels will book them for you.

Prices are not very different in cities like Beijing and Shanghai, especially when you have the advantage of foreign currency exchange rates.

Watch out for brand names.... many are not genuine. It might be better to buy a cheaper brand in your home country than fakes here. If you really know your sporting equipment, you can of course check.

Yes, the prices of fashion collection don't have much differences in big cities. Beijing and Shanghai are the same. Be careful about the branded name, as Apault suggests, many might not be genuine.
