FT Style columnists wrote: While every other celebrity these days seems to be talking about launching a fashion range, ask long-time fashion insiders what they dream of and they'll talk about escaping to the middle of nowhere. (Except, of course, for the rule-proving exception that is Karl Lagerfeld, who has never expressed the faintest desire to even take a holiday.) In rare cases, they actually do make a break for it – only to find fashion is harder to shake than they thought. Take Giorgio Armani, who after years of just enjoying the raw beauty of the Italian Island of Pantelleria, has now harnessed his holidays to work with the launch of Crema Nera, which is enriched with the minerals that form the island's obsidian rock. Having looked through the article, I am convinced that fashion is hard to follow. Even the designers themselves are tired of the fashion industry which they lived on. Fashion designers are enslaved by fashion industry?

Fashion world is a very hectic industry. Imagine how much effort and creativity it would take for the designers to come up with new designs for every season. They have to whether they are inspired or not. To select different colors, patterns and fabrics. From the drawing board to the sewing machines and try to make it a trend. It’s make or break. For models, it’s trying to keep looking good and rail thin all the time. The rewards are big but the time comes when they just get burned out and want to get away from it all, at least for a while.

ICEBLUE Points: Join Date: Aug 30, 2007 Status: Offline	It is not as easy as we think to be a trend-setter. Not everyone has that kind of creativity. Usually, fashion celebs get a high payment. They reap more because they may plant more.
