What do you think are the most significant events in life? Birth, Marriage and Death. Do you agree? A whole life is a journey from cradle to grave. A friend once said that birth, marriage and death are three most significant events in life. When a baby was born, the whole family celebrate the occasion. Marriage is to find a life companion to accompany you to spend the rest of your life. Death is the end of the journey. Someone discribed death like is: eyes closed, muscle relax, now it is time to enjoy the peace of life. You might have never been so tranquil until the moment you will close your eyes. Is it proper to describe death in that way? What do you are the most significant events in life?

GUEST42191 I believe that we are eternal creatures, so our time here is just a pass - by. i like to think that I am just hitchhiking thru this galaxy. Anyway, death is just leaving our bones behind while our spirit departs in search of the next adventure.

"What do you *think* are the most significant events in life?"

Each moment is important for me. An hour is not 59 minutes but 60 minutes. My life would not be complete if even just one second is missing. Each moment, I learn a lesson. Every time, the world around me touch me and make me realize why I love being alive. Every time, I understand little things about people around me, their wisdom, their love, their motives, what makes them tick and what they think makes life worth living.

"Someone discribed death like is: eyes closed, muscle relax, now it is time to enjoy the peace of life. You might have never been so tranquil until the moment you will close your eyes. Is it proper to describe death in that way?"

I have heard/read a lot of accounts from people who claimed they’ve had near-death experiences. They say that dying is not only very peaceful but joyous. They said that you just let go and all your cares, troubles, aches and pains disappear, and you feel so light and free. They said letting go comes naturally because there comes a time when you are just sick and tired of being sick and tired, that letting go is so much easier than being stuck in a useless, mangled body. Well, I don’t know because I never experienced dying yet. When I do, I’ll come back and post here. Hehe... O_O

They must have too much faith in death. Death can not solve all the problems in life. It is stupid to resolve your trouble by ending your life. An elder told me:" Living itself is a sea of bitterness. In a life journey, people just learn to under what love and friendship and the meaning of life through experiencing the big troubles in life.
