How are we supposed to know what you would like?
Generally I recommend Nanjing for history, Huangshan for scenery and Hangzhou for general R&R.

GUEST83326 Is it easier and cheaper to go to Huangshan from Shanghai or Hangzhou ?

How much time is required to see and stay in Huangshan ? Is a day trip or 1 night trip enough from Hangzhou ?

Easier and cheaper to go from Hangzhou. The bus takes about 3 hours for Hangzhou -- Huangshan city, and then you'll need to take another bus to the foot of the mountain (Tangkou, or Taiping) for another 1.5 hours. There're also limited departures for Hangzhou -- Tangkou/Taiping direct.
I would definitely recommend an overnight stay. A daytrip would be far too rushed.
