HOEFFE Points: Join Date: Dec 21, 2006 Status: offline	I am familair with the children song "mama is the best', but I have heard there is also a (children) movie with the same song. Does anyone know this movie? Can you still buy it in China? Lisette (Helan)

Hi Hoeffe,

That's my favorite song when I was a child. The movie is surely my favorite. The movie is " Mother Love Me Once Again". (or My Beloved). I can still remember the scene when I saw the movie for the first time. When I was 7 year old, the school authority organized us to watch the movie. I was deeply touched by the movie and shed endless tears. When we stepped out of the theatre, all my classmates sobbed with the tear marks left on the face. Almost all the Chinese children who were born in 1980s loved that movie. You can do a research. It was the greatest movie I have viewed in my childhood.

LEONARDO Points: Join Date: May 21, 2007 Status: Offline	This is another one. Perhaps, it can be litterally translated into " Mama is the best" ( 世上只有妈妈好）。I have never watched this one. I think that you must refer to the one " Mother Love Me Once Again". It is the most welcomed movie by millions of Chinese.

ELLEN77 Points: Join Date: Feb 7, 2007 Status: Offline	Yes, that is a great movie. It is said that you can find no childern not crying after seeing the movie. I saw it in my village during my childhood. That times the old Chinese movie screen was still in use. Many of my villagers are moved by it.
