![]() | A report from AP stated that as China’s economy booms, Chinese people’s demand for liquor is also roaring. So the wine industry is a promising industry. Many Japanse corporations are strengthening their investment in wine industry. Japanese corporations issued a statement that China’s annual consumption of liquor per capita is about 0.3 liter which is very low compared with the world’s average consumption level. (The world’s annual consumption per capita is about 7 liters. While the figure is 60 liters in France and 3 liters in Japan) French people are big guzzlers of liquor. How much liquor can you drink? Which country’s people are real guzzlers of liquor? |

![]() | Increased consumption of alcohol in China is not good news. In moderation, alcohol does not harm. Unfortunately, alcohol has a way of turning moderation into excess. |

![]() | According to WHO, Europeans are the biggest drinkers. I believe Luxemburg, Ireland, France, Germany and Britain are some of the tops. I don’t drink any liquor. Anyone can drink to their heart’s content as long as they don’t drive after that. O_o |

![]() | A friend told me that Scots can drink a lot of wine. How about Irish? Spain's wine-making is also excellent, but I am not sure if they can drink a lot. |

![]() | Yo I agree with Irish people being major consumers of liquor. I remember in a Physc course that I took in college mentions that many believe Ireland is the birthplace of alcohol as the conditions there are ideal. |

![]() | A friend told me that Scots can drink a lot of wine. I don't you will find it's wine they drink, Scotch is their tipple although like me, they like their beer too. My Irish friend can drink his beer quicker than they can give him his change. Alan |
