| What do you mean by “they”? You mean all Chinese? With a brilliant history, China is a country of etiquettes. Chinese people as a whole are tolerant, friendly and polite, though you may find cultural differences and shocks hard to accept. Chinese people are generally very friendly and warmhearted to foreigners, especially nowadays more and more people can speak good English. When you first experience something unpleasant, do not feel annoyed. Wait and see if they repeat the same thing among themselves. For example, they may pick food for you or push you to more food, do not feel unhappy. This is just our culture. And when you find any restaurant can be that bubbling, do not feel dizzy. This is our habit. Anyway, time changes, if you spend more time with young people, you may find it is easier to go long with. Anyway, wish you a good time in China! |

| Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in all circumstance. Enjoy your time in China and learn the broad Chinese culture. If you regard yourself as an honor guest of this country, you are sure to find interest in it. If you just feel like a passerby and fear this or that, you may feel rather dull. Pour out your questions on China and i am willing to help. |
