"Russia will not use force in Kosovo though the situation in the region will continue to escalate following the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo authorities, "

Despite the fact that Russia's permanent representative to NATO Dmitry Rogozin has released Russia's stance, it is still hard to tell that Russia won't use force to interfere the breakaway. Russia has strategical importance in Easter Europe. To put it in another way, Eastern Europe is the forefront of Russia's confrontation with NATO. NATO's expansion in these years have put great pressure on Russia's security. Koso's breakaway will benifit NATO. As the crisis escalate, it is still a questionable if Russia use the force.

I assume that Russia won't use force in Kosovo. For one thing, Kosovo is not strategically important enough to compel Russia to use their force. For another thing, the Western allies won't stand by if Russia trigger a war.
