| guest22249 | I am an Italian boy who lives in the city of from two months. When I decide to come here to work I had no idea how to find a home and accommodation, as the company for which I will working had no solution for me. Fortunately few days leaving I found this blog and I managed to contact the real-estate Amoy. I explained my problem and within two days they proposed my two hotels in which to stay the first night. The next morning I saw several apartments, at least 6, all very nice and in various areas of the city, and between them I chose my (which also put photos), I have also helped in negotiations on the price to give me a good discount on the rent of it. In the afternoon of that day they accompanied me to the central police station to register, and I must really say that without their assistance I would never succeed, also because no policeman spoke English. So the Amoy real-estate company is very competent, quick in finding a solution, with employees who speak excellent English and a little Italian, and offering a good service for a really ridiculous price compared with the service they may give you. What else add.... visit Xiamen because is a beautiful city and if you do it for work, for pleasure or study, contact the Amoy real estate and they will think to make people feel at home! Philippine consulate,Tradition, Modernity, the new shopping centre The community of Lianhua was developed in the 1990s, therefore, the lifestyle here is characterized by a combination of tradition and modernity. Most buildings in this area are architecturally dull because they were designed in the last century, but if you step into some small alleys you may have never paid attention to, you will be surprised! You probably will be as amazed as I was when you see the sophisticatedly designed and well managed western villas such as the one that Havana is located in. Meanwhile, you can also listen to Gezixi Opera as you walk down the street. It is a troupe employed by the residents here to celebrate special days of the year. What’s more? It is a very convenient area for shopping. SM,Carrefour, Trustmart, B&Q and Laiya Department Stores are within the vicinity. Voice from an Italian friend. | Voice from an Italian friend: Hi, or maybe is better say CIAO!!!! When I arrived in Xiamen three months ago I was looking for a place where stay for a six months stage, and fortunately I found the Amory Real Estate contact on the web. They take care of me, providing hotel accommodation for the first two days, and during that days they showed me not less of ten different apartments, in various areas of the city, XiaDa, Financial center and other area. But at the end I choose the one they showed me in Lian Hua area. Why? I don’t know…..maybe for the first impression of that area, new building, lot of restaurant, coffee club, good transportation service. The choice was the best one, this area is really good. Located in the middle of the city, 20 minutes from Zhong Shan Lu or from Marco Polo, close to two big supermarket, and there is another one very convenient in the middle of the area. I’m really happy for my home, I like Xiamen, and I decide to stay long time here. I found good real estate company, but especially a good friend: After three months I can’t count the dinners, beers, and days I spend with mister Ye. In conclusion….what says?....If you are looking for a good area for live in Xiamen look at Lian Hua, maybe we will encounter……….. |

| 7.)Near Xiamen University Key words: Shopping,Book Store, Culture, Education, the sea Let’s go back and experience innocent school life again and be surrounded with students and scholars! The beach and the famous ring road are within walking distance where you can enjoy free sunbath with smell of books coming out from the university. Cheaper living expenses, yet the housing is not inexpensive as a matter of fact. Many Small cafes are either tugged in small alleys or located on the half way of the mountains. It is pretty relaxing to have a cup of coffee and read books sitting in one of those cafes and watching the sun go down. Two good bookstores are around the corner near Bank of China where you can find authentic books in English. Voice from an American friend |
