Impressive! I just wonder why they use such such a special tea pot to pour tea. Just for performance or making tea more fragrant?

The skill of these guys seems really impressive. I often go to hot pot restaurants where this style of tea pot is popular. You always know when it is the pourer's first day on the job, because he looks really nervous using such a long tea pot and often pours the tea very slowly and very carefully.

I love it when more experienced pourers pour the water from a metre or two away - the long, thin spout means that the when the water comes out it can travel quite far in a predictable and controllable way. A skilled pourer can get the water to fall perfectly into your cup, even when the end of the spout is only half way across the table.

The tea-pourers are amazing! Why did they use such a long tea pot?
