![]() | My team Bristol Rovers play West Bromwich Albion on Sunday hoping to make the semi finals for the first time in our history. The last time we got this far was 50 years ago, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed " The Mighty Gas " make it this time. The last 8 are: Barnsley, Bristol Rovers, Cardiff, Chelsea, Man Utd, Middlesborough,Portsmouth and West Bromwich Albion. I hope we make it as the semi finals and final are being played at Wembley. Bring it on, come on you Blues. Alan |

![]() | Alan, wish your dream could come true. Chelsea and Manchester United also play at FA Cup? If your team meets them in the semi-finals, that would be terrible. |

![]() | Hi Kevin. It would be great if we could get either of them in the semi final should we make it, I would prefer the final though. The FA Cup is the most respected cup throughout the world, it will shown in just about every country. Man Utd are the favourites to win it with Chelsea close behind, my team are 100/1 against to win it, I'm not a betting man but I might be tempted at those odds. Next season we will have to share grounds as our Stadium is being knocked down and rebuilt, so we need the extra money to survive, so to play some like Man Utd could bring us millions of pounds, so far we have been rewarded with around 1 million pounds in TV fees etc. This could buy us a few players as try and get promoted into the Championship and then maybe the Premiership, oh well I can dream on, he he Alan |

![]() | Well it's not going to be won by Man Utd, they have lost 1-0 at home to Portsmouth. I'm getting excited at our chances now. Alan |

![]() | A further update, and Chelsea have been beaten 1-0 too by Barnsley, Middlesborough and Portsmouth are now the only premiership teams left. It looks like the year of the underdog. Todays games are Middlesborough v Cardiff and Bristol Rovers v West Bromich Albion. Alan |

![]() | Well another premiership team bites the dust, Middlesborough have just been beaten on their own ground 2-0 by Cardiff, so only Portsmouth left to fight off the lower league teams. Alan |

![]() | Thanks for updating, Alan. Now your team have more chances since Manchester United and Chelsea were kicked out. Only Portsmouth left to fight off the lower league teams? What a shame! It seems that the lower league teams have become stronger. Good luck to your team, Alan. I am here waiting for your good news. |

![]() | Hi Kevin. Sorry mate we got beat 5-1 by a very good West Bromich Albion team, although we gave them a better game than the result suggests. We had a penalty turned down when the score was only 1-0 and then the third goal was 15 yards offside, it was given because one of our players headed the ball back to him, but the law says he was seeking to gain an advantage so the referee got it wrong, after that our heads went down a little but we never gave up. Even the West Bromich fans said they were flattered by the score and have all said they hope we can go on and win promotion via the play offs, we are 10 points behind at the moment but we have 4 games in hand on the other teams so a possible 12 points if we can win them all. ![]() | Alan, I am sorry to hear the news. You said that your team tries to win promotion via the play offs. I have a question:" If your team got promoted, would they advance to Premier League?" To win 12 points, your team must win the rest four games. It is hard to achieve it. Good luck to your team! Looking forward to your good news. |

![]() | Hi kevin. No we would only get into the Championship which is the division West Bromich play in, there is more than 4 games left though, this is the amount of games we need to play to catch up with the other teams because of postponed games and our cup run. I think it might be too soon for us to go up this season, we have only signed 2 players since our promotion last season and we would need to sign at least another 3 quality players or we might come straight back down again. Next season we will be celebrating 125 years as a football club so we are all looking forward to see what the club has planned, it will seem strange playing all our home games at another ground 40 miles from Bristol while our current ground is redeveloped. ![]() | 125 years? Wow, your team has a long history. Alan, can you tell me about your team? When was it set up? How many champions you have got? Did you have any football stars? |
