Cotton and textile industries are highly regulated in the United States. Cotton has been around for at least 7,000 years. JC, Texas is cotton country!

I say I like African and US cotton. I have a Gap t-shirt that is made from 100% African cotton. Most towels and t-shirts are 100%. I love the feel of cotton on my skin. Nothing beats cotton when it comes to softness and comfort. (I’m beginning to sound like a commercial. O_o) I don’t care if it doesn’t last forever because I tend to wear them a lot. That’s why it’s eco-friendly because it is biodegradable. However, most of my cotton shirts last for more than 5 years. That is not bad at all.
