Hostels & Sighseeing tours in Beijing

Im travelling on my own. Can anyone recommend reasonably priced, clean and safe hostels in Beijing. Also maybe sightseeing tours in company with others with or without accommodation for 6/7 days.

I recommend Chong Wen Men hotel 3 *. It is not very expensive and service is good. It is easy to join a group everyday. Please search www.beijingservice.com. You could find most of the beijing hotels information. Good luck.

Try the Lama Temple Hostel. It is situated in a quiet hutong, only 200 meters from Beixinqiao subway. There you will meet many others travelling alone, and can either join them in group tours, or just rent a cycle and go off by yourself. The rooms are clean and nice, the price is good, and the staff are helpful and friendly.
